Brian Skow is a Certified Practitioner of the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia, a Diplomate of Asian Bodywork Therapy by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a faculty member of the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture, and a Nidan (second degree black belt) in Jujitsu (a Japanese martial art). His therapies include bodywork (Shiatsu, acupressure), guided movement away from pain and into alignment (Sotai), acupoint heat therapy (moxibustion), and Japanese herbal medicine (Kampo). In addition to performing therapy, Brian teaches his clients stretching (Meridian) and strengthening (The Five Tibetans) exercises, and counsels in nutrition, other exercise, sleep and meditation. Brian takes on simple and complex cases, and, with custom therapy, achieves wonderful results.
