Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle healing Art which restores the free flow of energy throughout the body, mind and spirit by gently holding vital energetic centers referred to as Safety Energy Locks. There are 26 pairs of Safety Energy Locks, located on the left and right sides of the body.
Translated as ‘The Art of the Creator through Person of Compassion and Awareness’, Jin Shin Jyutsu uncovers innate wisdom and benevolence and helps one experience a greater sense of ease.
While receiving Jin Shin Jyutsu, the person is fully clothed and lies on his/her back on a comfortably padded table. A Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner utilizes “flow patterns” by gently holding appropriate Safety Energy Locks in specific sequences in order to help the areas of need.
Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help routines may be offered at the end of a session, as powerful tools for furthering daily maintenance and release of accumulated tension. Self-Help is easy to apply and can be as simple as holding a finger in order to revitalize energy, or to help unload stuck attitudes such as worry, fear, frustration, sadness and pretense.
Alice attended her first class in 1982, taught by Mary Burmeister, who introduced Jin Shin Jyutsu to America. In the mid 1980’s, Alice started practicing the Art. To this day, she remains grateful for the simplicity and breadth of Jin Shin Jyutsu, and for the profound support it continues to provide along her journey.
Alice is available for Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions on Saturdays by appointment.
