So many choices of yoga mats? Which one is the best yoga mat for you?

Consumers Advocate recently researched 65 eco-friendly yoga mats and determine which ones had the traction, support, and versatility to accommodate every type of yogi’s needs. We all know finding the perfect mat can be very difficult - so I thought I would share this information with the Harumi Yoga community:

What Cherry Blossoms teach us.

Cherry blossoms, also known as Sakura in Japan.

Watch this:

Tied to the Buddhist themes of mortality, mindfulness and living in the present. In spring, it is blooming time, powerful, glorious and intoxicating, but tragically short-lived — a visual reminder that our lives, too, are fleeting, our own passing time on earth with the same joy and passion? Why do we neglect to revel in life when it can end at any moment, or in the grace surrounding us everywhere cherry blossoms remind us, to pay attention.

Enjoy be in the moment!

Drinking up the clouds

it spews out cherry blossoms –

Yoshino Mountain.

Wind blows

they scatter and it dies

fallen petals

Petals falling

unable to resist

the moonlight

Sakura, sakura

they fall in the dreams

of sleeping beauty.

Gratitude on Thursday!

Reading this morning of Ganesha. I love Ganesha it’s been symbol of my studio. One of the Hindu’s beloved elephant-headed deity. Grounds and kept me centered everyday. However, to me, Ganesha is you, the community, thank you for your support and being there!!

Power of patient

a fortune cookie at tiday’s late lunch.

small steps like a dripping water on a tea bowl. Not to see soon to be full but never underestimate of the small or tiny drops. I am here, be patient watching to grow and hopefully pay off. And it is so rewarding when you see it actually the water in the tea bowl is full after hard working.

continue work hard.

My gratitude

Traveling back to my home in Japan. I have a very small family. just my mom and my grand aunt. Both are getting old and far away from each other. My love to my home country and my family. And yet I love USA and my studio.  I love both. I love you all. I see better when I am away. My deep gratitude to you all.
